I was in Kentucky for business (I had no intention of having any fun) when this massive storm came rushing through. The rain wasn’t so bad. There weren’t any flash floods or washed out roads but, the lighting strikes! One after another after another. The sky was constantly flowing with electricity.
Naturally, my friend and I decide we need to go drive around and track down the worst of it. The images below should speak for themselves. The consistency of the strikes made it incredibly easy to get some good pictures. We were chasing the storm for 4-5 hours to get as many shots as possible. The experience will always be one of my fondest memories.
